You take good care of yourself by getting your annual physical and by staying current on the tests your doctor wants you to have. Just like getting a mammogram or regular cholesterol tests, a memory screening can be important for taking care of your whole health.
Come to David Goodman, Ph.D. Psychologist Associates for a quick, easy memory screening with neuropsychologist, Dr. Charles Berthold. The screening is recommended for people who are not currently experiencing memory problems or who are experiencing mild changes in thinking, but would like a memory check-up, usually starting at age 65.
The memory screening includes an interview and a quick test. If the memory screening is normal, another one will be recommended in one year.
If the screening shows abnormal results, you may choose to come back for a full memory evaluation. If the screening results fall in the middle of normal and abnormal, you may schedule an evaluation or return in six months to a year for another screening.
